The sound is excellent, as always with JBL, but there's a problem: the fit is very uncomfortable. They slip out of my ear every time I turn my head. I think the bridge is too small; it should come in two different sizes to choose from, like the Shockz Openrun Pro. Also, the ear hooks are too flexible and don't stay in place. Please fix this. I've only been using them for two days and I'm already disappointed. I feel like they're going to fall out every second.

Buen producto

La calidad del sonido y microfono es buena, además de ser bastante comodos para usarlo en sesiones largas, de hecho los he usado más para reuniones virtuales que para estar fuera de casa y no defrauda.

Seriously. What is going on with JBL? They used to be the "IT" brand for me in terms of personal audio devices.I've loved them since the 90's when their speakers were in my Compaq PC and laptop. My first car out of college, a 94 Continental, had JBL speakers too. I've been a diehard fan for decades.I've recently bought 3 different types of their newest headphones in the past 10 months and they have all failed my expectations miserably. First, I got the SoundGear Sense which basically *Fooled* me into thinking they would be like the wearable wraparound headset type that I prefer......when, actually, they're just earbuds connected (very loosely) by a detachable piece of connecting plastic (which is now missing). 3 months of using them and the audio quality suddenly dropped significantly to where I can barely hear anything out of them. I replaced those with the Endurance Peak 3 only because by then I'd gotten somewhat used to buds, but I still don't like that style, they're too uncomfortable to wear for long periods, but I can't take them out without risking losing them, and they don't have dual device pairing. (Why?)So, as soon as I found out about the Endurance Pace, I bought a pair immediately. These were finally everything I wanted in a single pair of headphones.........but, again, after barely 3 months of use, the left speaker suddenly died on them. They were perfectly fine the night before. I just took them off the charger the next day, turned them on and *FzzT*. Dead left speaker. I've legitimately lost faith in JBL as a brand because of all this. They used to make the best stuff.

If you want a headset where you can both hear music and around you then this is for you. Unfortunately I prefer a headset with maximum amount of sound in my ears. The ear pieces do not fit inside your ear but lay outside.

awesome sound. Rests outside of ear. The back wire does not rest against head. I tried to put them around my neck or top of head when not in use but those places are less comfortable than just on the ear. When I am not using them and don't want the optics of them on my ears They can be pocketed as the band is very flexible.

I'm not much of a speaker, but I use these everyday. Whether I am at work or at home, the battery life is pretty decent. I haven't really experienced any fatigue while wearing them, so comfortable is really good. My biggest issue with them, is that I usually need to remember to have an ear open so I can hear others. The sound is best I have experienced so far.

Wanted to leave some early impressions of these. I think they are very close to what I would be looking for in an ideal open ear workout headphone.Sound - Not going to wow anyone, but I think they are more than competent enough especially for open ear headphones. If you are already looking at this category you should likely be aware that they are going to rival IEMs or other in ears. But these definitely give a better and more full sound than something like bone conduction headphones without sacrificing the open ear feel or any awareness of your surroundings.Controls - Buttons. Thats really the most important thing. Touch controls are annoying to use when working out. The buttons here should do everything needed and allow for easy volume control. There is no customization even in the app, but I dont think its really needed.Fit - They are very lightweight and I have found them comfortable for the few exercise sessions I have done with them. Obviously these are not TWS in that they are connected by a band around the back. But that should also be a plus for working out. My biggest issue with the fit so far is that they are kind of floppy and not stiff. Thats probably a good thing for comfort, but the ear pieces also kind of move around on my ear a little bit as I work out. I have not been for a run with them yet due to the weather here, but that will be the test whether I will be able to feel them moving around a lot as I run. So far, hasnt been a real issue, but a concern.A few other things to note:- This is an extremely barebones packaage. In the box you get the headphones. Thats it. No case or anything, no charging cable. Just a little booklet with some instructions. They charge with USB-C so no stupid proprietary connectors, and everyone likely already has chargers everywhere. A case would have been nice though, but if it keeps these from being priced higher, I guess thats fine.- IP68 rating was a big selling point for me. I have used a handful of others that were rated maybe IP55 or below. They all start to degrade or have issues over time. Hard to tell if its because of sweat or just that I use them while active. I sweat a lot while exercising so I want these to be able to hold up. To that point in the app, there is also a method remove excess water buildup if the sound starts to suffer, which can happen if water clogs some of the driver openings. Dont know how much it will be needed, but good that its something they are at least considering.- There i no audible battery level warning. On the shokz openfit 2 pro, when no audio is playing, you can hit one of the volume buttons and get the battery level spoken out to you. This is really nice both as a reminder that they are still on, but also a quick way to know if you need to charge them. As far as I can tell this does not exist with these. There is at least an LED indicator.- I had no issues pairing these to multiple devices, my phone, a chromecast, and my garmin watch.- I have not used them enough to fully judge battery life, but for my needs I imagine it will be more than enough.- Have not used them for any phone calls, but my expectation there are not super high. Not really intending to use these for any serious calls except when I am already outside.Overall, I am happy with these. They sound better than similar bone conduction models. They have a better IP rating than others I have tried and they are very comfortable and secure on my head. Button controls work great, and should be the norm on these kind of headphones. Currently 4 stars because I have some concerns about whether they are going to bounce around be noticeable when wearing and that its a pretty barebones package overall. But for the price I would definitely recommend them so far.Edit - April 10: Changed to 3 stars. I think these are really close to being great, but due to how floppy the earpieces are, I just dont use them. They pretty noticeably bounce around when working out. While walking its not that bad, but when I run, I can feel them bouncing and rubbing on my ears with every single step. Thats kind of a dealbreaker to me. I dont want to be fighting with or noticing my headphones unnecessarily while I am working out.
